1928′s V.P. of Product Development Retires After 30 Years

Just this past week, our company celebrated the retirement of David Alverson, the VP of Product Development at 1928 Jewelry.  (Believe me, he had a party almost everyday from all the departments.) His inspirations and commitment to product quality, and his spunky personality has made him an integral part of the company.  One thing certain is that his talent didn’t just come out of thin air. David’s design expertise stemmed from his work at Balmin, Yves St. Laurent and Lanvin.  The torch will now be passed on to our equally talented Mako Miyashiro, who is currently our design director. Though we’ll miss David, we’re excited to tackle a new chapter at 1928.
