Dear readers! Did you notice that we not only have earrings, bracelets and necklaces but also charming boutique accessories such as key fobs, purse hangers and hair barrettes? Here are a few pieces that I can’t resist:

She’s artistically wearing our fuchsia-toned Cabochon Barrette on her knitted beret. Who said you had to wear it directly on your hair? Each of the sparkling stones are hand set in an etched filigree hematite metal with a double-locking closure snap. Simply adorable.

Insert your favorite photo in these heart locket key fobs! Large and lightweight, (like the size of a pocket watch) they make a fashionable statement with your keys. Choose the Silver Heart Key Fob or the Copper Heart Key Fob–whichever strikes your fancy:)

Me and the other girls at 1928 ditched our black lanyards and traded it with one of our stylish badge holder necklaces like this hand-enameled gold-tone Butterfly Badge Holder Necklace!. Why choose plain when you don’t have to?!

Here is one of my favorite boutique accessories I think every girl should have! The purse holders are small and convenient enough to carry around in your bag so that you don’t have to leave your purse on the floor or on your lap at a restaurant or meeting.
Check out this vintage boutique jewelry piece with a modern twist. This magnifying glass necklace doesn’t have to be only for your grandmother, I tell you! Isn’t it adorable?

We don’t usually write about beauty products, but when something is this good, we have no choice.
I spent the morning on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. Deciding I’d procrastinated long enough on Christmas returns, I jumped into Z Gallerie to return some artwork that didn’t fit my vintage flow. Greedily took my store credit from the cashier and began to shop for something I was going to love. In twelve minutes flat, I’d found a bronze duvet on CLEARANCE for $99.95. SCORE! I purchased it and ran out the door.
Feeling like the Queen of the World, I ducked into Sephora to see what was new and great. I actually was looking for my Dermatologica moisturizer. I haven’t been in a Sephora in about 6 months, and let me say – they have added tons of things!
Amongst all the pretty/pretty (and over priced) I spotted some interesting packaging, half written in Greek. Closer analysis of the label revealed it’s name – Korres. I started going through the line; it offered body butters, hair products and skin care. I was impressed. And I died and went to heaven when I saw the Korres Natural Products: Balanced Hydration Line.
It was designed for women and men with oily and dehydrated skin. Wow – first time I seen that combination.
I looked at the other products and combination choices. What I discovered: Korres has created a natural skin care line that aims to correct unique problem skin combinations.
I bought the Yoghurt regimen for my skin type. Further label scrutiny shows that the line is homeopathic and contains full fat Greek yogurt, primrose and white tea.
Here is what bought and now fiend over:
- Yoghurt Cream – best moisturizer ever, clean, light and actually requires only one coat.
- Yoghurt Mask – oh, the pores are singing “Hallejueh!” Deep clean.
- White Tea Cleanser – cleanses without over drying.
- Evening Primrose Eye Cream – puffiness be gone.
Korres offers the best skin products I’ve used in years; I’m going to continue to explore their other offerings. Best of all – you can order online at Sephora, no trip to Greece needed, though it would be nice. You can buy the Yoghurt Hydration in a nifty set here for $45.00!
