Being located in Southern California, means that we’re lucky to be surrounded by a rich and vibrant mix of cultures. Cinco de Mayo is a great celebration of Mexican heritage and pride that continues to grow in popularity throughout the US. As someone who is drawn to ALL things bright and colorful, this is one celebration that really appeals to me!

5demayoblvd<font style=font family: Century Gothic, Verdana, Geneva, sans serif;>Cinco de Mayo!</font>A couple of years ago, I had the chance to be in Puebla, Mexico (where the celebration finds its significance and roots*) in early May. I have to tell you that you haven’t seen a Parade until you’ve seen the Cinco de Mayo Parade in Puebla! There’s such a great mix of people and pageantry everywhere you look that it’s impossible not to be inspired. Seriously though, there is something for everyone!
