Brooch Bouquets seem to be popping up everywhere these days! The vintage charm paired with a little glitz and glam and mixed with a greater durability than traditional floral bouquets makes them a popular choice! They are epecially good for winter weddings, when there isn’t always a great selection of fresh flowers available. Or, great for a bouquet that’s really going to hold up if your big day happens to fall on a hot summer day.

These brooch bouquets are a great way to make your day even more meaningful when you collect and use pieces from the people that you choose to share your day with. If you need a couple more to fill out the arrangement, floral brooches are a great way to give a nod to more traditional bouquets. A super cute lovebird brooch would also be a great way to add something special to your oh-so-unique bouquet!

If you’re not into tons and tons of glitz and glam [like me!], why not choose one spectacular piece and attach it as an accent to your bouquet? I think it would be awesome to accent a bouquet with either a treasured family heirloom [something borrowed!], or a quirky piece that truly makes for a bouquet that is a unique reflection of you!

Brooch Bouquets!</font>In case you’re interested in trying your hand at one of these spectacular bouquets, we’ve found a couple of tutorials! There seems to really be two main ways to make these bouquets. The first way is to use a styrofoam ball to create a full round look. The second is to create stems for each individual brooch bloom. Here’s a link to make a bouquet with individual stems [like the one in the image to the left], and the video below uses a styrofoam ball. Happy Crafting!!
