Shimmerings Hues of Silver & Wine Country Adventures

Last year, I discovered a small intimate wine vineyard called Silverado.  I was on my first coastal road trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco. The goal: to discover as many undiscovered and unknown places I could in one week.

Silverado Vineyards is located east of Yountville, California in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley. I learned that the owners, Ron and Diane Miller,  purchased the land with existing vineyards in the mid-1970s after a long time romance with the Napa. Although the Ron & Diane’s original intentions were to only grow grapes, it wasn’t long before they began construction of their own winery. Since then, the winery has acquired a total of seven family owned vineyards located in various districts throughout the Valley. Silverado produces Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Inspired by single, blissful breezy Saturday afternoon, we created a collection to honor summer coastal road trips and yet to be discovered intimate wine vineyards.

You can view and purchase the Summer Silver Collection here.
